FINANCIAL FACT SHEET/TUITION

POLICY
 

We believe that tuition payments are an investment in your child’s education and religious formation.

It is the responsibility of the administration to ensure that adequate financial resources are available for the school, and that enrollment is as available and affordable as possible to all families.

TUITION PAYMENT

 I.  All tuition payments MUST COME THROUGH THE FACTS Tuition Management Plan.  Payment in the school office is no longer an option.  If you are not registered on FACTS already, you must contact the office and set up your account.  You must be registered with FACTS in order for your child to begin attendance. Options for payment shall include:

  • Full Payment:  Under this plan the entire amount of tuition is paid directly to the school on or before July 1st a tuition reduction of three (3) percent would be applied to the tuition cost.  No tuition reduction will be given if payment is made after July 5th.  ______

  • Monthly Payments:  Under this plan the entire amount of tuition is paid monthly over a ten or eleven month period beginning in July or August (ending in May or June) through the FACTS Plan.  Through this plan, the family authorizes the bank to transfer the tuition payment from a checking or savings account on either the 5th or the 20th of the month.  There is an annual fee of $38.00 for this deferred payment plan. ______
  • II.  Late Registration:

  • Families registering after July will have to “catch” up on any missing monthly tuition payments in order to fulfill their tuition obligations and complete all tuition payments by June.

  • Tuition for students registering after the first day of school shall be prorated over the number of school days they will be in attendance. ______
  • III.   Late Payments:

    It shall be the responsibility of each school family to keep the Principal/Office informed of their need to make any changes in their preferred tuition payment plan or adjustments in the amount of tuition expected to be paid.  Without such information, the following policy will apply when tuition payments are received late.

  • Full Payment: When full payment has not been made by July 5th, the family will be contacted by the school concerning the missed payment.  At that time, if payment is not made, the family will be required to pay through the FACTS Plan. ______
  • Monthly Payment.  School families who choose the ten or eleven month payment plan and miss a monthly payment due to insufficient funds, will be automatically charged a $25.00 missed payment fee by FACTS and may incur a similar penalty from their own banking institution.  After being informed of a missed tuition payment by FACTS, the missed payment will be re-attempted on the next available payment date (either the 5th or 20th). 
  • If an emergency has occurred, please contact the Principal/Office Immediately
    to set up arrangements. ______  

  • Report cards & Progress Reports will be withheld, records frozen and/or participation in graduation activities and/or ceremony suspended until delinquent accounts are made current.______
  • In addition, school families who are delinquent more than one month in tuition, will be informed that, their child/children will not be allowed to attend school according to the “Non-Admission,” specifications of this policy. _____

    NON-ADMISSION OF STUDENTS DUE TO TUITION DELINQUENCY

    School families failing to pay tuition according to the agreement which they have made with the school or who have been unwilling to make suitable alternative arrangements with the principal/office, will be informed that their child/children will only be admitted to school when tuition is made current or suitable arrangements are made.

    All families must be current (no more than one month delinquent with tuition) in their payment of tuition:

  • By 1st trimester progress reports and  Parent/Teacher Conferences.  If not student(s) will not be admitted on the day following progress reports and parent conferences. _____
  • by 2nd trimester progress reports and2nd trimester  report cards.  If not student(s) will not be admitted the day following progress reports/ report cards. _____
  • by 3rd   trimester progress reports and third trimester report cards.  If not, student(s) will not be admitted the day following progress reports/report cards._____ 

  •  by June 20th If not the school will not release report cards and/or permanent records.   _____
  • For Kindergarten & 8th Grade students, all tuition and fees must be paid by May 15th.   Any payments after May 15th must be paid in cash.  If not, student(s) will not participate in graduation activities and/or ceremony.  Initial ____

    IV.REGISTRATION AND BOOK/MATERIALS FEE

    A REGISTRATION fee- $125.00 for new students or $100.00 for returning students &

    BOOK FEE- $250.00 is paid to the school during registration periods beginning in March.  The total for both must be paid by June 1st.

    PLEASE NOTE: ANY BOOK FEE NOT COMPLETELY PAID BY SEPTEMBER 28TH
    WILL BE ADDED ON TO YOUR FACTS ACCOUNT TO ENSURE IT IS PAID BY JUNE. _____

    These fees (Registration & Book/Materials) are NON REFUNDABLE (even if the student is withdrawn).   
    Tuition Paid in Full is also NON REFUNDABLE (even if the student is withdrawn).

    REGISTRATION AND BOOK FEES 2009 - 2010

    In order to register the following information must be provided:

    • Baptismal Certificate
    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Record (yellow card)
    • Health Record (Physical)
    • Previous school information, i.e. the latest report card.

    For returning students

    Registration $100 / Late $125
    Book/Materials Fee $250.00
    Technology Fundraising/Fee $50.00 / 1 time only

    For new students

    Registration $125.00
    Book/Materials Fee $250.00

    The Registration and Book Fees are used to pay for expenses such as:

    • Major classroom supplies and paper
    • Office equipment and copier rental fees
    • Student insurance
    • Standardized Testing fee
    • ACRE Testing fee
    • Disaster supplies
    • New textbooks and Consumable textbooks
    • Educational software
    • Library books, etc.

    The registration fee is due at registration to secure your child’s place. Full registration and book fees must be paid on or before June 2nd 2009, or together with registration if received after June 2nd.

    If Book Fees are not paid by September 25th, 2009 the amount will automatically be put on your FACTS account with an additional $25.00 late fee.

    Registration and Book Fees are non-refundable, even if you leave the school during the school year.

    In addition, some students may incur other fees such as sport’s fee, graduation fee or field trips. These fees are assigned as needed during the year. Every attempt will be made to give families advance notice when special fees are necessary.


    Registración y quota de libros 2009 - 2010

    Para enscribir a su niño/niña tiene que traer el acta de nacimiento, certificado de bautismo, Immunización de vacunas, fisico y información de escuela anterior.

    Para estudiantes regresando:

    Registración $100.00 / Tarde: $125.00
    Quota de libros y materials $250.00
    Quota de Technología $50.00 / Una sola vez

    Para estudiantes nuevos:

    Registración $125.00
    Quota de libro y materials $250.00

    El dinero que paga por libros y materiales se usa para:

    • Papel y proviónes de la clase
    • Equipo de oficina y renta de copiador
    • Aseguranza de estdiante
    • Quota de Pruebas estandarización
    • Quota de Pruebas de ACRE
    • Materiales de desastre
    • Libros nuevos y libros consumible
    • Materiales de educación de computadora
    • Libros para la biblioteca

    Quota de registración debe pagarse el dia de la registración para asegurar el lugar para su niño/niña. La quota de registración y libros debe ser pagado en total antes o el Segundo día de junio, 2009 o junto con el pago de registración en tiempo de registración despues del segundo día de junio 2009. Sí la quota de libros no se paga para el 25 de Septiembre, 2009, la cantidad se agregara a su cuenta de FACTs mas $25.00.

    Quota de registración y libros no se puede devolver, aun si se sale de la escuela antes de completar el año escolar.

    Algunos estudiantes tendran quotas de deportes, o quota de graduación, quotas de paseo. Durante el año asignamos quotas si es necesario. Trataremos de avisarles lo mas pronto posible de quotas especiales necesarias.
